The Meaford Hospital Foundation has announced the second annual ER: An Evening of Revelry, set for Thursday, October 9, at the Georgian Peaks Club. This signature fundraising gala supports the campaign to renovate and update the Brightshores Meaford Hospital emergency department, which handled over 14,000 visits last year. With a growing community, ensuring high-quality health care close to home has never been more vital.
The evening begins with a cocktail reception featuring fabulous food and an open bar, followed by music and dancing that will carry guests late into the fall night. Attendees can bid on a specially curated silent auction, with prizes ranging from Toronto Maple Leafs and Raptors tickets to unforgettable experiences and top-of-the-line electronics. Complimentary shuttle service to and from the Georgian Peaks Club means everyone can relax and enjoy the festivities.
Tickets are priced at $325 per person and include a $125 charitable tax receipt. Last year’s inaugural ER raised over $300,000, funding the purchase of a C-Arm digital imaging unit for the hospital’s orthopedic surgery clinic—an upgrade that directly benefits patients across our region.
