The 169th Meaford & St. Vincent Fall Fair was held on Saturday, September 5, at the Meaford Fairgrounds and Curling Club. As it does each year, the Fair featured a number of agricultural competitions that included cattle, horses, sheep, and poultry. There were also produce and quilt competition exhibits for visitors to explore. The Meaford Community Garden is entering an exciting new chapter, inspired by the dedication, generosity, and spirit of the community. Following weeks of collaborative discussions and partnership with the municipality, Meaford Council has approved the allocation of two acres of land behind Georgian Bay Community School, Knox Presbyterian Church, and MacDonald Furniture.
