Members of the Optimist Club of Sydenham and District (OCSD), in collaboration with Grey Bruce Settlement and Languages worker Shelley Bell-White, recently came together to hold a cultural craft morning at Georgian Bay Community School in Meaford.
One of the Grade 3/4 classes was introduced to OCSD Ukrainian member Tetiana Suddia from the Owen Sound area, and learned of her homeland and some of the cultural practices. Students were inspired and created unique globe ornaments for the tree.
