Mr. Editor, It was not my intention to write two letters in two weeks. However, I feel it necessary to clarify my recent submission about the legitimacy of petition signature numbers. Firstly, I do not believe that all SGB members who worked to get names on petitions used ‘alternative facts’ to persuade people. I am sorry if it appeared that way....

Editor, I want to add to Jim Hepple's commentary in his letter last week. Over a span of several years, SGB has only been able to persuade, through use of dishonest information, 3,000 people (26%) of possibly Meaford residents, to sign their petition.
