Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
I want to squeal on the kids in the Grade 8 music class. I was talking to a lady who attended the excellent performance of the Goldenaires, and she had some things to say that the parents should know.
She talked endlessly about the extreme good behaviour of every student there. There was no nonsense like poking each other, whispering, giggling, or talking the way we usually see when kids get together. Even in the kitchen out of sight they showed total quiet respect for the building, audience, supervisors, and staff.
Their performance was exemplary and they can play even without the direction of their wonderful director. As she said, “Good for those kids.”
I just thought the parents should know what people say about their kids behind their backs.
Sincerely,
Roberta Docherty, Meaford
