Tap into your imagination and unleash your creativity, the 2014 Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival wants your films!
The festival is open to students in grades 7 through 12. Completed films must be no longer than 10 minutes in duration, and can be live action or animation.
Interested filmmakers can pick up an application form from their public library or download a form from the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library’s website: www.owensound.library.on.ca. Deadline for submissions is March 3, 2014.
The festival screening will take place at the Galaxy Cinemas in Owen Sound on April 14, 2014. The event will be open to the public, so make sure to invite friends and family. A panel of judges will select the winning entries. The winners will be announced at the screening and will be eligible for cash prizes of up to $150.
The 2014 Grey Bruce Youth Film Festival is organized by the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library, with the participation and sponsorship of Galaxy Cinemas, The United Way of Bruce Grey, Richard Thomas Communications, Bruce County Public Library, Grey Highlands Public Library, Hanover Public Library, Meaford Public Library and West Grey Public Library.
