Scam Alert
A TMI reader has submitted the following warning to Meaford residents after experiencing a suspected phone scam.
According to the reader, “After several “hung up” calls over a couple of days I received the Windows/Microsoft Technician – Paul, I interrupted him and asked who/where he was actually calling from and he hung up on me. They are back…”
If you receive a suspicious phone call, or if you have been a victim of a scam, obtain as much information from the incident and contact police immediately.
