The Municipality of Meaford is inviting residents to a Public Information Centre (PIC), hosted by the Municipality of Meaford and its consulting engineer, to be provided with information regarding the upcoming interior and exterior lining and rehabilitation of Meaford’s water tower.
The Elevated Tank project will involve multiple stages of work, including the erection of scaffolding, installation of a protective tarp to prevent the spreading of dust and paint particles, the removal of the existing interior and exterior painting, the rehabilitation of structural components, and the application of interior and exterior coatings.
It is anticipated that project construction will commence in July 2014 and be substantially completed by late November 2014.
The Public Information Centre (PIC) will be held on Thursday March 27, 2014 from 7:00pm-9:00pm in the Meaford Hall Galleries.
Staff from the Municipality and its consultant will be available to discuss the project and its different stages.
