With sorrow and love, we announce the passing of David Richard Moser, beloved husband and life partner of Janet Rae Moser (née Schram). David passed peacefully surrounded by love. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario, David was the son of the late Joseph and Ruth Moser (née Reid) and was predeceased by his brothers Michael, Ernie, Ken, and Chris. He is survived by his sister Beth, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and close friends.
David was a gifted athlete, accomplished in track, squash, skiing, and especially golf. A several time club champion and proud achiever of five holes in- one, golf brought him lasting joy and connection. It was more than a game; it was a keystone in his life.
A McMaster University graduate, he led a distinguished career in technology and also real estate, including roles as president of MCS (Moser Computer Services), Peartree Software, and Director of Glenbriar Technologies.
His dedication to community service earned him the Paul Harris Fellowship Award from the Rotary Club. Most of all, David’s life was defined by his enduring love and partnership with Janet.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to First Tee—Ontario, helping youth access the game of golf, or ALS Canada which may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St E, Meaford, Ontario, N4L 1B9, to whom arrangements have been entrusted.
