Thanks to a new LED sign facing Sykes St., Meaford Hall is looking brighter and better than ever.
The new sign replaces older technology that was irreparable and in need of an upgrade. This will go a long way towards promoting upcoming events at the Hall, as well as local events in our community. As the tourism industry in our area continues to recover from the pandemic, this type of marketing platform will help to provide a boost to local industry growth, catching the eye of travellers through Meaford’s downtown core and local residents alike.
Installed by Signworks on May 6, the total cost of the new sign will come in at just over $11,000. A majority of that will be paid for by the Meaford Culture Foundation.
Since 2006, the MCF has raised funds for capital projects at Meaford Hall through their popular Meaford International Film Festival (MIFF) and Online Auction events. MCF is also the largest contributor to Community Outreach programming in the arts, providing bursaries and funding to smaller initiatives locally. Learn more at www.meafordculture.ca.
