Police Investigating Thefts At Local Roadside Stands

OPP Media Release

On September 20, 2020, officers from the Grey Bruce Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an attempted theft from a vegetable stand on Grey Road 12, in the Municipality of Meaford. The same stand had their money box stolen in July.

There have been other similar occurrences reported to police from other stands in the Meaford area over the summer months. The thefts are occurring at night.

Grey Bruce OPP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) involved.
