Traffic Complaint Results in Charges Against Meaford Man

On Friday, January 8, at approximately 4:02 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint regarding a silver Subaru vehicle speeding and passing vehicles unsafely northbound on Hwy. 10.

The suspect vehicle was stopped on Hwy. 10 at Road 110 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.  Investigation revealed that the driver, a 60-year old male from the Municipality of Meaford, was a suspended driver.

The man was issued a summons for the offences of driving while under suspension under the Highway Traffic Act and for failing to surrender an insurance card under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.

He is to appear in court in Owen Sound on February 8, 2016.
