On January 3, 2024, the Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a report of a vehicle being entered and items being stolen. The caller was unsure if the incident occurred in Owen Sound or at their residence in the Municipality of Meaford.
It was determined that unknown individual(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and removed the victim’s wallet.
Police are reminding all residents to lock their vehicles and remove their valuables.
The Grey Bruce OPP are continuing to investigate. If anyone observes a suspicious person in or around vehicles contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 at the time of the incident.
