Dear Editor,
Meaford Council granted Johnny B’s automobile repair shop permission to operate out of a location on the 22nd Side Road, due to a massive fire at their shop on Highway 26. This permission was granted for a period of 3 years, which should have been sufficient time to rebuild the shop.
Now Johnny B’s wants a further extension of 3 years, to operate on the 22nd Side Road, while their shop is being rebuilt. I find this very confusing, as it took only 40 months to build Toronto’s CN Tower! Meaford Council should expedite the construction of the building on Highway 26, which is where the business belongs.
Regards,
Tony Primo, Meaford
