Editor,
I would like to thank Mr. Robertson for exercising his constitutional right of freedom of speech. The same constitution, which was illegally not upheld during the last two years of governmental tyranny. The same constitution the convoys have been fighting for so people can have the freedom of choice of what they say in a newspaper and what they do with their bodies.
If he doesn’t know what the problem of the convoy was, why is he assuming it has to do with the mandates?
I’m not sure if he is a foreign affairs expert but I’m not sure what his grief about the convoy has to do with the Ukraine. I happen to know people in the convoy that are concerned about the Ukraine and may have sent aid. What has Mr. Robertson done about the Ukraine?
What was malcontent about weekend mini-gatherings? A harmless, small fringe minority, perhaps; and doing what?
Not all was lost since Mr. Robertson did find a detour to avoid much of the convoy. a detour similar to that during the long road construction period, last year.
What does he need the police for? Is he planning on turning himself in for having road rage?
I’m not sure why he would assume politicians of a certain party were in on this. So much disjointed logic throughout his letter to the editor.
Finally, name-calling is puerile behaviour and indicates a person lacking in intelligence. I am sure the median IQ of Owen Sound skyrocketed when Mr. Robertson left. What was he in a hurry for on a Saturday morning? A line up at a healthcare facility?
