Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance following a mischief incident at the Victoria Village Housing Complex, located at 80 Victoria Street in the Municipality of Meaford. Police are asking residents to review video footage for suspicious activity beginning the evening of December 3.
On December 4, at approximately 1 p.m., members of the Grey Bruce OPP were dispatched to the Victoria Village Housing Complex in the Municipality of Meaford regarding a mischief incident.
Three individuals attended a unit within the housing complex and observed an orange substance sprayed on the door. The individuals experienced minor irritation from the unknown substance and were treated at the scene by Grey County Paramedics.
The Grey Bruce OPP is requesting members of the public to review any video surveillance footage they may have starting from the evening of December 3 through December 4 for suspicious activity in the area.
At this point, police believe this was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the general public.
