In loving memory of Winston Joseph Rodgers who passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 10, 2025, at the Meaford Hospital.
Winston will be sadly missed by his loving wife Calva (Cutting) Rodgers of 59 years.
He was the cherished father of Catherine (Sean) and Gary (Patricia) and proud grandpa of Sophia (Bob), Jeffrey, Sabrina (Ryan), Jessica (Steph), and Jakob (Cynthia), and great-grandpa of Curtis, Charlotte, Madison, Oliver, and Grace. Winston is survived by his brother Paul and predeceased by his parents Joseph and Lilly and his siblings Wanda, Donald (Cathy), and Douglas (Mabel). He was predeceased by his nephew Jeremy.
Winston was a devoted Toronto Maple Leaf and Toronto Blue Jays fan; in his younger years he was a fantastic hockey and lacrosse coach. He loved to attend to his gardens and spend his time with his wonderful family.
The family would like to thank all of his home care PSWs and nurses, and the fantastic staff a the Meaford Hospital, and Dialysis team at the Brampton Hospital 112.
A funeral service will be conducted at Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford, ON, on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 11 o’clock, with visiting the hour prior to service. A service of committal and interment will take place at Walkers Cemetery at 085795 Southgate Rd. 8, with a reception following at the Dundalk Legion.
