It is with incredible sadness and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert Gordon Patterson on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the age of 76. The loss of a father is never easy but what stays with you keeps him alive in your heart.
Gord lived a full and happy life. He was an honourable and hardworking man. Gord was a man of many talents and was always up for a new challenge. He loved learning new things and figuring out a problem when something did not work.
Gord was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Arlene (nee Brown) and a father to four children Lynn, Michael, Lisa, and Marie. He was also a loving grandfather to five grandchildren, Kyle, Cassandra, Seamus, Ben, and Charlie, and one great-grandson Clayton. He was the brother to Marguerite, Larry (predeceased) and Ron.
Gord is survived by Herbert, a loving stepfather. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond Patterson and Sadie Patterson (nee Cassidy).
Gord is remembered by his friends and family for his stories, advice and big laugh. He will be missed by many.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Gord’s life will be held at a later date.
