In Loving Memory of Jane-Wallace Buchanan
Daughter of Waino H. Nasi and Anne Nasi (née Wallace) and sister to Katherine Anne Bates (née Nasi), Jane was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, on December 18, 1944, and passed away in Owen Sound Hospital on July 23, 2023.
A devoted wife and mother, Jane found joy in family with her husband Joseph, their children Rebecca, Patrick, David, and Thomas, and grandchildren Alex, Tom, Sam, Jamie, and Gracie.
Infinitely curious and widely read, Jane was a wellspring of knowledge, fostering thoughtful conversations, inspiring and connecting people worldwide.
In accordance with Jane’s wishes, there will be a small private gathering for immediate family only. Donations to local charities, including Friends of Meaford Library and your local food bank, are appreciated in her memory.
Jane’s love, fairness, compassion, and sense of fun will forever guide us.
