The Municipality of Meaford is inviting residents to attend upcoming drop-in website accessibility information sessions on August 24 and August 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Meaford Public Library.
These sessions are an opportunity for residents to learn more about the municipality’s new websites, including the municipal website, library website, Meaford Hall website, and Meaford Museum website, explore the accessibility widget with support from staff, and share accessibility-related feedback to help improve the online experience for the community.
The new websites have been designed to provide a modern, accessible, mobile-first experience that makes it easier for residents, businesses, and visitors to find services, programs, facilities, events, applications, licences, permits, and contact information.
During the drop-in sessions, residents can try out the website’s accessibility widget, ask questions, and provide feedback on accessibility, navigation, mobile use, and overall website experience. Staff will be available to help residents explore features and better understand how the tool can support individual needs and preferences while using the website.
The sessions will be held at the Meaford Public Library. Residents are welcome to drop in at any time during the scheduled session times. No registration is required.
