Get ready to lace up your skates and enjoy some holiday fun. Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MP Alex Ruff is hosting a series of public skate events at local arenas, offering community members a chance to gather and enjoy the season together. Whether you’re an experienced skater or stepping onto the ice for the first time, all are welcome to join in.
Event Schedule:
- Meaford: Meaford Community Centre — December 27th, 9:00–11:00 AM
- Hanover: P&H Centre Hanover — December 30th, 11:00–11:50 AM
- Tara: Tara Arena — December 30th, 4:00–5:00 PM
“This holiday season, we’re bringing communities together for some skating fun,” said MP Ruff. “It’s a great opportunity to stay active, enjoy the festive atmosphere, and make memories with loved ones.”
How to Join: No registration required. Simply show up with your skates and enjoy. Each session is free of charge and open to all ages and skill levels. Don’t forget to dress warmly for the rink and bring your holiday cheer.
