This letter is in full support of the October 16 letter to the editor from Jim Molineux.
I read Jim’s letter with both a sense of disbelief and optimism. I thought the development behind the library, aka 5+ Story Floodplain Condominiums (5 SFC) had faded away and become yet another non-starter. That was my optimism. The disbelief is the proposal appears to be alive and going forward.
This development is all WRONG. Wrong on so many fronts. Jim has articulated the background and forces at play to negatively affect our beautiful town.
I wonder about Jim’s implied question. Will this development will be a symbol of long term legacy of neglect? Or is there is a course of action we can mount to prevent the 5 SFC?
