Doug Ford mentioned that ‘basket weaving’ courses for university students is not what will be productive in the Ontario job market!
I was appalled that he used an outdated prejudice term to refer to an unacceptable job. I’m appalled CBC Radio made no comment in quoting Ford. Has Doug Ford woven a basket himself? Baskets are essential for storage in many parts of the world: Africa, Thailand, the Caribbean, South and Central America to name a few. Baskets have intricate designs and are created in all shapes and sizes.
I wonder if Mark Zuckerberg can basket weave?
