On March 12, 2024, at 12:02 p.m., the Grey Bruce OPP responded to an address in Grey Highlands and initiated an intimate partner violence investigation.
A 31-year-old from the Muncipality of Meaford was charged with:
Assault – spousal
Assault causing bodily harm – choke, suffocate, strangle (X 2)
The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
The OPP will not release names to protect the identity of the victim.
