On March 22, 2022 at 2:48 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an unwanted person on Nelson Street West in the Municipality of Meaford.
Police arrived on scene and located the accused inside a residence. They were subsequently placed under arrest without incident.
The Grey Bruce OPP have charged Jason Harbottle, 45 years-of-age, from Meaford with “unlawfully in dwelling house.”
The accused was released and will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound at a later date.
