Dear Sir,
Just wanted to acknowledge the wonderful group of volunteers connected to both the United Church and the community. This past beautiful weekend, the Church held their yard sale fundraiser. I spoke with so many enthusiastic and dedicated people, many who had told me they were at the Church organizing the sale donations at 6:30 a.m. Many did not leave until the sale closed. There were likely many other hours spent collecting donations and organizing. The bargains were plentiful and delicious homemade treats along with coffee available.
I don’t know if it was the beautiful day, the fresh air , or the ‘many finds’ but the people who were there made it such a happy day for me and I just wanted to express my appreciation and recognize the effort. Take care.
