Annual burn permits are available now and can be obtained online by visiting www.meaford.ca/BurnPermits. All residents who applied for a permit last year will be able to renew their permits by logging into their accounts.
All annual permits are free, are required prior to any burning, and play an important role in fire safety for our community.
If you are having difficulty with the process or do not have regular access to a computer, we have options for you. Email fire@meaford.ca or call 519-538-1060 extension 1602. In-person support with a staff member is also available at the Municipal Administration Office, located at 21 Trowbridge Street W., Meaford, during regular hours of operation (Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m., to 4:30 p.m. excluding statutory holidays).
