On Saturday, September 14, the Meaford Public Library will transform itself into Hogwarts for the entire day. And you are invited to come out and participate in this fun fundraiser.
The Library will offer the following great activities:

Potions – Mix your own potion to take home

Honeydukes Sweet Shop – Buy Harry Potter themed sweets such as Chocolate Frogs or Every Flavoured Beans

Buttons – Purchase and wear your Harry Potter buttons

House Cup – The house it the most money collected at the end of the day wins the house cup

Fantastic Beast Scavenger Hunt through downtown Meaford
And of course everyone is welcome to wear wizard robes, scarves, caps or other Harry Potter attire.
New this year is a series of one hour shows on the Care of Magical Creatures at Meaford Hall, also on Saturday September 14. Explore the origins, habitats and features of some fantastic beasts. From basilisks to owls, this Care of Magical Creatures class will introduce the wizarding world and the animals found within it.
Purchase your ticket for any of the following show times: 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, and 4 pm
The tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased in advance at the Meaford Public Library.
The Care of Magical Creatures shows are generously sponsored by RBC of Owen Sound.
This fundraising day promises to entertain Harry Potter fans of all ages.
