Artillery Units will be firing at the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre in Meaford on the weekend of March 24 to 25, 2018.
Noise from an artillery range at the training centre may be heard from 9 a.m. on Saturday to 12 p.m. on Sunday. Visitors and residents may notice a succession of loud noises during this time. Noise may be heard from large-caliber guns firing simultaneously.
As a result of this training, there will be an increase in the number of military vehicles travelling on public roads during the weekend. This event is purely for training purposes and at no time will safety or security of the public be in jeopardy.
