My name is Angela Forder, and I’m running for School Board Trustee for the Bluewater District School Board, representing Meaford and Thornbury..
Meaford has been my home for many years, and I’ve been fortunate to spend much of that time actively volunteering and being involved in our community. I’m also a mom of three children who attend GBCS, each with their own unique needs, including ADHD and autism. That experience has given me a very personal understanding of how important it is for parents to feel heard and supported.
I’m running because I want to bring the voices of Meaford families to the board table. A trustee can’t personally run our schools or change the provincial curriculum, but they can listen to families, ask important questions, help set priorities, review spending and policies, and make sure our community is represented when decisions are made.
Our children deserve to have their needs heard, understood and considered.
