I get the feelings of those on the American Flag. I grew up in Quebec.
I met people who didn’t care for Canadian Flag. And no its not “a piece of red rag”.
Provincial Flag Traditions:
The Fleurdelisé: Quebec’s provincial flag is much more common on municipal, provincial, and school buildings.
General Practice: Outside of federal properties, public spaces in Quebec almost exclusively fly the provincial flag rather than the national Canadian flag.
I fly and am proud of our Canadian flag.
