Concern About Canada’s Direction

Editor,

I too do not have TDS. I really don’t have time for him. He was elected by more than half the Americans in a two party system. How was our last election, it wasn’t floor hockey.

What I do have time for, is that many Canadians cannot find a family doctor. Many Canadians will be defaulting on their mortgage payments, and some losing their homes. Many Canadians will be entering retirement age with less than a thousand dollars in savings. Many Canadians will look at the post 65 years working. So much for the Freedom 55 ads years ago. Many Canadians cannot afford the groceries. A package of 8 frozen hamburgers went up seven dollars in one week. Yet, this what the PM latest trip cost us:

“Three Specific Overseas Trips: Records obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation showed a total of $195,400 was spent on catering for just three specific international trips.”

By the way my OAS went up by 74 cents from April to May.

I worry about where Canada is heading. With all our resources in Canada, why are we paying taxes on wages under $70,000 a year??
