Once again, Georgian Bay Community School will be supporting the Canadian Cancer Society by hosting its annual Relay for Life event.
Last year, the school did an outstanding job. In 2025, GBCS surpassed its initial goal of raising $15,000, with an incredible achievement of raising over $30,000.
This year, the students want to keep this momentum going and have set an impressive goal of raising $20,000.
On Thursday, June 4, students will be relaying on the GBCS school grounds from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., taking part in a day filled with energy, live music, food, games, and much more.
The Georgian Bay Relay Committee invites the community and local businesses to join in this exciting event by signing up a team or supporting the event with a donation on the GBCS Relay for Life website. Not only will community support help make this day unforgettable, but it will also raise funds for an amazing cause.
