On January 26, at approximately 11:13 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break & enter at the LCBO on Nelson Street West, Municipality of Meaford.
Police attended and observed the glass in front entrance to be smashed. OPP Canine and members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) attended to assist.
As a result of the investigation, Christopher Fraser, 41, of Meaford, has been charged with the following offences:
- Break & Enter, CC 348(1)(b)
- Theft under $5,000, CC 334(b)
The accused is set to appear in the Owen Sound Court of Justice on February 27, to answer to the charges.
