Obituary
Art Docherty passed away at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Saturday, September 19, 2020, in his 86th year.
He was born in Toronto on October 28, 1934, to parents Hugh and Olive (nee James) Docherty and spent his favourite years in Meaford.
Art was always all in for whatever he chose to do, whether it was coaching hockey, building his own home, travelling the world, fishing, curling, or playing Bridge.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by Shirley, his wife of 62 years, son Paul (wife Wendy Roth, grandchildren Emily and Jana) and son Peter (wife Mary Catherine Macsween, grandchildren Colin, Julia and Sean).
As for his wishes, Art will be cremated and there will be no service.
