On June 19, at 8:38 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a neighbour dispute at Victoria Street in the Municipality of Meaford.
OPP officers attended and located a person who had sustained minor injuries to his abdomen as a result of being assaulted with a grass trimmer.
As a result of this investigation, Grey Bruce OPP have charged a 31 year old Meaford woman with Assault with a weapon, section 267(a) Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is required to appear in Ontario Court of Justice on August 27, 2020.
