Letter to the Editor
Dear Editor,
As a former teacher from a teaching family I too am writing in support of the teachers of Ontario.
All the public sees and hears is the demand for a 1 percent raise.
Do they know that that dedicated and hard working teachers daily face rudeness, talking back, and sometimes even physical abuse, yet they continue to teach hopefully to awaken an interest in math, science, literature, the arts, and much more.
The government wanting to cut back on special needs teachers and enlarge classes is reprehensible.
