Obituary
Born in St. Vincent Township on March 28, 1933, a daughter to the late Charlie and Maude (nee Almond) Taylor, Audrey passed away peacefully at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at the age of 86.
Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husbands Lewis Snell in 1985 and Howard Eagles in 2006. She will be remembered as the loving mother of Pat (late Christopher) Duff and Jim Snell and his partner Isabell, all of Scarborough.
Audrey will be the sorely missed Grandma and Great-Grandma of Jessica Duff and her partner Andrew of Scarborough and son Luca, Daniel Snell and his wife Renee of Brampton and daughters Dahlia and Azalia, Amanda Snell and her partner Tara, and Laura Snell and her partner Disny also of Brampton.
A sister, Elsie Watts (late Don), of Meaford survives Audrey. She was predeceased by brothers Arthur (late Thelma) and Frederick (late Edna) Taylor and a sister Edna (late Willard) Julian, and sister-in-law Thelma Grant. She is remembered with fondness by her sister-in-law Dorothy (late Bob) Snell and by her many nieces and nephews and their families.
Family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E. in Meaford on Thursday, February 13, 2020, from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services officiated by Rev. David Young will be conducted at First Baptist Church, Trowbridge St., Meaford, on Friday, February 14, 2020, at 11 a.m. Interment and committal will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
