Driver Hit Parked Vehicle And Left Scene, Police Seek Public’s AssistanceOn January 10 at 7:47 p.m., the owner of a white car parked their vehicle in the parking lot of Dairy Queen at Sykes Street North, Meaford. After a short time inside they were alerted that their vehicle was sitting in the middle of the eastbound lane of Sykes Street North.

Grey Bruce OPP were dispatched to the location and began a collision investigation after observing damage to the car. Video evidence from a neighbouring business shows a blue truck backing into the car and rolling it into the roadway from its parked position.

The OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying the owner of the involved truck, a blue Ford F150 extended cab or a vehicle similar to it. See attached picture.
