The Meaford Kinsmen made a donation of $1,300 to the Backpacks For Learning program headed up by Amy Teed-Acres.
The funds raised were from the organization’s annual Tim Cronin Memorial Hockey Tournament held in the spring in the Meaford arena. Shown in the photo are the current President Ken Tyhurst and his co-chair for the tournament, Simon Newbold along with Amy Teed Acres and vice-president Tony Weldrick. Mike Lee, who also chaired the event was unavailable for the presentation.
