Obituary
Peacefully, at Lee Manor in Owen Sound on July 7th, 2017, in her 94th year.
Formerly of Meaford and Sauble Beach, Edie was the beloved wife of Douglas Butchart Belton (also of Lee Manor) for 72 years. Loving mother of Kim (Brenda) of Owen Sound and Sandi MacDonald (Gregg) of Orangeville.
She was predeceased in 1985 by her son Danny.
Proud Nana of Adam Belton (Breean) of Waterloo, Scott Belton (Jessica) of Halifax and Nick Belton (Leah) of Barrie, Danielle Belton of Thornbury, Shane MacDonald of Hamilton, and Brad MacDonald (Veronica) of Port Moody, and 5 great grandchildren.
Daughter of the late David and Gunhild Jones, Edie is survived by sisters Mildred McIntosh and Isabel Wolstenholme, both of Orillia, sisters-in-law Betty Belton of Meaford and Donna Allen of Levak, former daughter-in-law Donna Belton-Smith, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Eric Jones and Amos Jones, sister Alice Seymour, brothers-in-law Jim Belton, Ian Belton, Ray Wolstenholme, Bill Allen and sisters-in-law Eleanor Jones and Jean Belton, and her in-laws, William and Isobel Belton.
