At a recent meeting of the Sydenham and District Optimist Club a cheque for $825 was presented by Katie, Isaac, and Layla Holovaci on behalf of the club to the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority represented by Chris Hachey to be used in their youth programs.
This money was raised by Katie and her family by climbing Gros Morne Mountain in Newfoundland in memory of Optimist Wes Mclean. Also in the photo are Optimist Dorothy McLean and President Lynn Sunstrum.
