Staff

55SafeWinterDriving270The Meaford Public Library and OPP Constable Alina Grelik are pleased to present Safe Winter Driving on Tuesday, November 29, at 2 pm at the Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre during the 55+ Friendship Club meeting.

Be prepared for winter driving challenges. Constable Grelik will be discussing how to ensure that you and your vehicle are ready for snowy conditions, what to do if your vehicle is stuck or if you are stranded, and how to avoid collisions. Other topics will include maneuvering through intersections, passing in the winter, and distracted driving.

This is a free event, however space is limited. Please register at the Meaford Public Library in advance. You do not have to be a member of the 55+ Friendship Club to attend. A $1 donation to the club is requested at the time of the event.  For more information, please email info@meafordlibrary.on.ca or call 519-538-1060 ext. 1123.
