Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking to speak with the driver of a white pick-up truck following a suspicious male reported to police on September 17, 2014.  Between 8:10 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. on September 17, 2014 an 11 year old was waiting for the school bus when the pick-up truck stopped and the male driver asked “are you waiting for the bus or coming with me?”  The child ignored the male driver and he drove off without any further comment.

The truck is described as a newer model white Dodge Ram, 4 doors, with a short box and a soft black tonneau cover.

The driver is described as approximately 60 years old, heavy set, with short grey hair and a goatee.  He was wearing a grey sweater at the time.

The OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times.  The OPP’s website, www.opp.ca, contains a number of useful resources, tips and links.

The Grey County OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.  Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or send a web-tip to crimestop-gb.org, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
