June 28 was the last meeting of the 2015-2016 year for the Meaford 55+ Friendship Club.
The Meaford & St. Vincent Community Centre hall was festively dressed in red and white to celebrate Canada Day a wee bit early.
Smiles were plentiful as a luncheon was offered to the membership. A Canadian-themed trivia game as well as a few other games were played after the luncheon. Summertime milestone birthdays for members Trudy Schmidka and Jean Wheeler were recognized by their many friends at the club.
