Mayor Challenges Neighbouring Mayor & Local MPP to Ride the Slip n’ Slide

Meaford Mayor Barb Clumpus has formally challenged Town of the Blue Mountains Mayor John McKean and Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker to ride the Urban Slide in a video that has been posted online.

The Urban Slide is a 1,000 foot long Slip n’ Slide that will be taking over Nelson Street Hill in Meaford on July 9. Mayor Clumpus will be taking the first ride of the season, and challenges McKean and Walker to take the dive with her.

The Meaford Harbour 5k Run/Walk/Stroll will also be taking place beginning at 7:45 that morning, in support of the Meaford Hospital Foundation.

Clumpus told the two that, “Should you accept this challenge, get your bathing suits ready and meet Mayor Barb Clumpus at the top of Nelson Street Hill at 10am sharp on Saturday, July 9^th.”
