The Meaford and St. Vincent Fall Fair might seem a long way off, but organizers are already seeking contestants for their Junior Ambassador for 2016.
Requirements are as follows: age 12-16, resident of the Municipality of Meaford or attend a Meaford school by September 2016.
“Both guys and gals are welcome to apply!” said organizers. “Application forms can be picked up at the courtesy desk at Bill’s Valu-mart or check with your school secretary. Please return completed application and biography to the courtesy desk at Bill’s Valu-mart before the end of June. This will allow more time to approach sponsors – we really appreciate the generosity of all our sponsors!”
A speech must be ready for the night of the competition. It must be at least three minutes in length and no longer than five minutes. Topics can vary from your favourite hobby/interests, to something you truly believe in.
