JANSEN, June Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully, in the arms of her beloved husband Ernie on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the age 60. Cherished mother of Amber Cameron (Jason), Samantha Driesel (Sean) and Vanessa Jansen. Proud and loving grandmother of Kadan and Jack Cameron and Hayley and Savannah Driesel. Loved daughter of Vernon and Lois Boyd. Dear sister of Patricia Miller, Isabelle Ridd (Bill), Margaret Burke (Lawrence) and Valerie Hackett (Gary). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law.
June always remained positive and hopeful and faced her illness with great courage and a radiant smile that never left her even on the darkest days. Her love for her family and dear friends will endure and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family received friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, Welland, on Tuesday, March 29.
A service to celebrate June’s life was held at St. David’s Anglican Church in Welland, on Wednesday, March 30. Interment followed at Doan’s Ridge Cemetery.
