OPP Make Arrest Related to Recent Series of Break-ins

opp logo270Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the investigative support of the Grey County Crime Unit, have made an arrest with respect to the recent series of break-ins that have occurred in the Municipality of Meaford between the first week of December 2015 and January 13, 2016.

As a result of an on-going investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Boucher Street East in Meaford today, January 22, wherein police recovered multiple items of stolen property.  Once the property has been properly identified, police will contact the lawful owners.

There is no additional information available at this time.  Police say that a media release outlining additional information will be issued at a later date.

“Grey County OPP is committed to public safety and the protection of property through proactive and innovative policing in partnership with our communities.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank members of the public as well as the media outlets for their assistance in solving these crimes,” said the OPP.
