Obituary
Don Tippin of Meaford passed away peacefully at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2017 in his 86th year.
Born in Meaford on October 11, 1931, a son of the late Sydney and Phylis (nee Shaw) Tippin, Don was the beloved husband of Dorothy Tippin (nee Loucks) of Meaford for more than 60 years.
He will be sadly missed by his son Dan Tippin and his wife Wendy of St. Thomas, and his son Dave Tippin and his wife Sandie Amodeo of Meaford. He is the cherished grandpa of Katelyn Tippin of St. Thomas, David and Catherine Amodeo of B.C., and great-grandpa of Sloan and Malcolm.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service of committal and interment will be conducted at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford at a later date.
